Frequently Asked Questions
How do I know if what I’m feeling is depression or just stress?
We all go through things and fight our own demons; worth recognizing these emotions or feelings won’t last forever. If your low mood, fatigue, or disconnection lasts more than a couple of weeks or interferes with your daily life, it may be more than just stress — and worth talking to a licensed professional about.
Is it weak to ask for help or talk about my emotions?
Not at all — opening up takes strength. The first step is asking for help, and in my opinion, it is the most powerful step toward taking control of your mental health.
Can mental health problems affect my physical health?
100% yes — issues like anxiety, feeling overwhelmed or depression can lead to sleep trouble, headaches, digestion problems, and more. Your mind and body are deeply connected, as both contribute to each other immensely.
What can I actually do to feel better without relying on medication?
Full disclosure, you should always speak to a licensed professional/counselor if needed. However, from my own experience, therapy, movement, better sleep, physical activity, and support from others can make a huge difference. There are many non-medication tools that work — and you’re not alone in figuring out what fits you best. Stay dedicated, and stay true to yourself
